CAN I USE MY CONTACT LENS PRESCRIPTION FOR MY GLASSES?

No, contact lens prescription is different from spectacle prescription as the distances between frames to cornea and contact lenses to cornea are different.

IF THE FRAME DOES NOT FIT WELL, HOW CAN I GET IT ADJUSTED?

If the frames are not comfortable, you can get them adjusted free of charge at our retail outlet @ 304 Orchard Road, Lucky Plaza B1-05, Singapore 238863.
In cases where you will need us to do adjustment at your place, a service fee of $15 will be applicable.

LENSES – WHAT KIND OF LENSES DO WE HAVE?

Over here at KOZO, we provide single vision lenses with the following features:

  • Clear anti-reflection u.v lenses with:
    • 1.6 index (Recommended for sph: PL to ±3.00, cyl ≤-2.00)
    • 1.67 index (Recommended for sph ±3.00 to ±5.00, cyl ≤-2.00)
  • Blue-ray filter lenses with
    • 1.6 index (Recommended for sph: PL to ±3.00, cyl ≤-2.00)
    • 1.67 index (Recommended for sph ±3.00 to ±5.00, cyl ≤-2.00)

HOW DO I OBTAIN A PRESCRIPTION IF I DO NOT HAVE ONE?

There are a few options to obtain a prescription:

  • Book an eye examination with us at our retail store
  • Get an eye examination done at an optical store near you and upload the prescription (with P.D measurement) to us, together with the receipt for the eye examination which we will re-imburse you (up to $15).
HOW DO I PROVIDE MY PRESCRIPTION?

Once you have chosen your frame(s) and type of lenses, you can provide us your prescription by uploading an image of your prescription to your order. ( Please note that your prescription must be less than 12 months old as required by legislation).

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY ORDERS?

Please call us @ 67320717 (10.30am – 7.30pm) within 24hrs of your order.
*Charges may apply if you wish to change your orders after 24hrs from order.

WHAT DO I NEED BEFORE ORDER?

We need your valid spectacle prescription (less than 12 months) and your pupillary distance (PD) measurement. Your (PD) is the distance between your pupils (measured in millimeters).

IS THERE WARRANTY ON THE QUALITY OF LENSES?

We use high quality lenses for our products, but user-handling is equally important in maintaining a longer life span for the lenses. We advise users to follow proper instructions for lens maintenance. Despite the above, we would still provide warranty on the coating and basic function of the lenses for a period of 12 months from date of delivery (scratches not included).

WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE ISSUES WITH THE PRESCRIPTION?

Sometimes it might take a few days to adjust to a new pair of spectacles (even if the prescription is the same), but in cases where you are not able to get used to the prescription, we would advise you to visit our store in person to let our professionals do the necessary verifications to help you adapt. We have a 21 days adaptation period for prescription glasses made from us. In cases where adaptation to the new prescription is not possible and replacement of the lenses is required, we will replace without any charges within 21 days of collection.

Please take note that if the problem is caused by the prescription that was not examined by our optometrist/optician, charges will be applicable for replacing to the correct prescription.

Rest assured that shipping is free as long as it is within Singapore.

HOW LONG DOES AN ORDER TAKE?

The processing time for an order depends on several factors namely:

  • Type of frames you choose
  • Type of lenses you choose
  • And most importantly, is your prescription complete?

A typical order will take about 6-7 working days to be delivered to you from date of order.
